After years of going undercover as an old woman to get into bars illegally, Jess has finally earned the right to drink under the eyes of the law in her true identity as 21 year old Jessica Kierson/Queerson/Rabbit. Needless to say I had a long drunken weekend, starting at around midnight on Thursday night at Poco, a popular local brunch party, and ending today in my apartment, on my couch, blogging, and not doing homework (as usual). On Friday night I finally met Jessica’s parents because they graciously took a few of us out to lunch at Patsy’s where Danny continuously threw pizza on the floor. That night we went to the Delancey where we spent way too much money on drinks, but had a good time dancing to music while we waited for the DJ to play Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, which he didn’t seem to think was a good idea. He finally played it and when we left I thought it would be nice if I went up to his little DJ area to give him a hug. It may or may not have been appropriate. Hammered, we then went to Arlene’s Grocery to meet up with some people and have a few more drinks (stupid) but then the cops came (standard) (not really) and shut the place down. Jessica was in the bathroom during all of this and when she came out the lights were on and the place was empty. Then we came home to hang out a little more which I vaguely remember. Then I threw up (typical) but I didn’t cry (unusual). Then because we hadn’t poisoned ourselves enough the night before, yesterday we went over to Chrystie for a Friendsgiving party. I made a pumpkin pie. Everyone seemed to like it. One boy shook my hand. Danny said, “I don’t like pumpkin pie but I like this.” I’m not sure if that’s a compliment to my baking skills or not.

Overall it was a pretty fun weekend, and now that Jess is 21, we are all 21, officially in our early 20s, nothing more to look forward to, 22 is kind of a sad age, i’m getting nervous about my inevitable future as an old person. But age is just a number. But dead isn’t a number, it’s just dead.

In other news, 4Loko is not being shipped to the city anymore. RIP. It was fun (no it wasn’t)(i wouldn’t know, i never drank a whole one).
